My fall soup to boost your immune system

With the arrival of fall, use seasonal ingredients to relax with a good comforting soup. Chico SHIGETA presents a recipe made from ingredients with antioxidant qualities and beneficial properties for strengthening the immune system.

Here are some of the nutritional benefits from our spices:

Ginger promotes digestion, reduces nausea, and is an excellent antioxidant,

Nutmeg has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, useful for protection during the period of contamination (viruses, bacteria),

Squash helps strengthen the immune system.

Ingredients (Servings for 2) :

      • Squash 500g (weight with seeds attached)
      • Ginger, sliced 1.5cm wide
      • 150-200 mL soy milk
      • Salt and pepper
      • A pinch of nutmeg
      • A pinch of cinnamon
      • A pinch of dried ginger

Cut the squash and ginger into small pieces, place it in a saucepan, add water until the ingredients are covered with water. Let simmer until cooked through. Once cooked, add the rest of the ingredients, simmer for 3 minutes and mix well with a blender.

All that’s left for you to do is enjoy!
