Gluconolactone is a molecule obtained through green chemistry and biotechnology.
It is a polyhydroxy acid, similar to AHAs (fruit acids) but less irritating and much better tolerated because the molecules are smaller than AHAs.
It also has a hydrating action on the skin by acting on the transerpidermal water loss (process by which water escapes from our skin) thanks to its humectant power.
In synergy with hibiscus flower acid, they gently exfoliate the skin, removing dead cells and smoothing the skin surface to reduce imperfections.
